What is the Dollar EXPRESS Renter Reward Program?
Dollar EXPRESS Renter Rewards gives Dollar EXPRESS members credits towards a free rental day on qualifying rentals at participating Dollar locations in the United States.
Who is eligible?
This program is open to all new and existing Dollar EXPRESS members. If you are already a member, all you need to do is select Renter Rewards as your preferred loyalty partner. To become a member in the Dollar EXPRESS Rental Program, complete an application enrollment form available on dollar.com. Only one membership per person is allowed.
How can I earn rewards credits?
Beginning November 1, 2006, the program will award one free day ("Reward Certificate") when a member earns 16 credits. Each rental day under the program equals one credit. A rental day is based on a 24-hour rental day starting at the time of the rental. Bonus credits can be earned from time to time as offered by Dollar. Members can begin earning credits towards a free day Reward Certificate redeemable in the U.S. by indicating on the enrollment form that you want to participate in the Renter Rewards Program or by adding it to your current profile as the preferred loyalty partner. If members choose to earn frequent traveler miles/points when they rent instead of program credits, they must provide their frequent flyer number on the enrollment form. Renters are not entitled to both frequent / flyer miles and program credits. Members may change their reward selection at any time by modifying their profile on dollar.com or by contacting Dollar EXPRESS Member Services at 1-866-776-6667.
* Industry discount rates, tour/prepaid rates and complimentary rentals do not qualify for frequent flyer miles or rewards credit.
Members and travel agents/managers must provide the Dollar EXPRESS member ID at the time they make a reservation or at the time of rental in order to receive program credits. If you have indicated in your profile that you want to earn Dollar EXPRESS Renter Reward credits instead of frequent / flyer miles, every rental day under the program will qualify for at least one credit. Only one Dollar EXPRESS member ID per rental.
Dollar EXPRESS Rewards Program credits are awarded on qualifying rentals at participating Dollar locations in the U.S. Neither membership in the program nor program credits are transferable. Credits will not be awarded on rentals when the renter has violated the terms of the rental agreement. Credits earned are valid for one year from the date of issue, provided the Program is still in existence. Membership may be terminated at company's discretion if no rental activity takes place and/or no credits are accrued during an 18-month period. All credits in the account will be forfeited at that time. If your Dollar EXPRESS membership is terminated, all credits earned will revert back to Dollar and are not redeemable or transferable to another Dollar EXPRESS member.
Members should allow at least 3 to 4 weeks from the conclusion of rental for credits to post to the rewards account.

How can I redeem my certificate?
Reward certificates are available for use on rentals of Compact through Full-size cars and Minivans. Reward certificates may only be redeemed for rentals within the U.S. according to the renting location's terms and conditions, and are subject to availability and must be surrendered at time of transaction.
Vehicles must be returned to the original renting location. Reward certificates apply to contracted time and mileage only. Members are responsible for governmental surcharges, taxes, tax reimbursement, vehicle license fees, airport related fees, fuel purchase option, refueling, excess mileage charge, and any optional services or products. Renter must have a valid drivers license, meet our age requirements and fulfill other criteria then being applied to renters.
General
Members should allow at least 4 to 6 weeks for credits to be processed and for delivery of a reward certificate. Member will be notified by e-mail when they have qualified for a reward certificate. Notice will be sent to the e-mail address listed in their Dollar EXPRESS Profile. Reward certificates will be mailed to the mailing or home address listed in their Dollar EXPRESS profile. Reward certificates are valid for twelve months (1 year) from date of issue. Reward certificates are not replaceable, transferable or combinable with any other promotion, offer or non-discountable rate. Multiple reward certificates may be used on the same rental. Altered or photocopied reward certificates will not be honored.
Reward certificates are void where prohibited by law. Dollar has the right to change, limit or modify program rules, regulations, rewards and credit levels at any time and without notice. Dollar has the right to end the program by providing six month's prior written notice to actively participating members. In the event of termination of the program, reward certificates must be redeemed by the expiration date or they will be forfeited. The program may be suspended or terminated if events beyond company's control such as computer equipment or electronic data transmission failure, strikes, natural disaster, civil disturbance or war materially affect the company's ability to perform the program.
